However you found us, Welcome. This is a relatively new blog about whats available to see and do in and around the Metro Washington D.C Area. We hope you have a good sense of humer since a lot of our posts will be laced with some tongue and cheek humor.
Most of our writers (and the editor) are simply regular Metro D.C residence and none of us are real "writers". You can find all kinds of travel blogs that feature "The Best" of this or "The Worst" of that. Hopefully here you will find a slightly different perspective on what you can see and do in Washington D.C and the surrounding areas.
Got any questions for us please just ask. All of us are "locals" and although no one has seen and done it all, chances are good we can shed some light on your interest in D.C Travels.

Looks like I found this blog early since it looks like you only have a few posts. I live in Maryland but have a few favorite places to travel in dc. I’m sure I will be back to see what you guys come up with. Looks like you have a good start.
If I could only do one activity in dc that was not on constitution ave, what would you suggest. Also FUN dining ideas. Thank you.
Hi Shelley,
Good questions. First place I would check out is The Walter Reed Medical Center. Its probably not what you think. Check out the link below and see what I mean.

As for dinner! The Blair Mansion Inn is really cool! The food is excellent and they perform a murder mystery right in front of the guests as they are eating. check out their website here..
